We took your photography class on 11/01/2011.. absolutely amazing. We learned many, many things about our camera that we just did not understand. Great pace, easy to understand language. We also just looked at your amazing photos.. absolutely beautiful.

I had the privilege of attending your class on 10/19/2011. It was amazing! Highly informative, easily accessible, and fun. I gave up photography nearly 8 years ago because I refused to abandon my 35 mm SLR and resented the 'intrusion' of digital into the world of photography. Something shifted in me during your class and I left it empowered and excited to begin again. I also left feeling, for the first time, willing and ABLE to dive into the digital world with a clear sense of direction and a basic understanding. Your genuine enthusiasm is contagious. You are a rare gift to the world of photography and I am grateful for how generously you share your knowledge and passion. Thank you!

Really enjoyed your class. Thanks for the information and suggestions for how to buy your first DSLR. This was the best class I ever attended at Massanutten and I been there at least six times. Hope to attend one of your workshops next time I am down there.

Thank you so much for the lesson today. I was able to buy a charger at Best Buys so can't wait to put into practice what I learnt today. I will never use auto again but really work at taking pics. You are great.

Thanks so much for the fun and INFORMATIVE class today!(Aug.11, 2011) I am a hands-on, down- on- my -knees picture taker too and I drive my family nuts! thanks so much for the class today July 28, 2011, i really enjoyed how you explained things so simple. i learned a lot in that short time, it helped me a lot. Honestly, the best photography class that I have been to.! im gonna try to get a dslr and then do the 1 on 1, cant wait! Thanks again for your time

Hi Todd I took your Digital Photography Workshop at Massanutten on tue. July 12, 2011. Your workshop has helped me so much and in so many ways. I wanted you to know that it has given me the ability to think about what I can do to fix a shoot and beforehand what I'm trying to get out of the phto. What do I want the photo to say. I thank you very much renewing my "can do" attuide and the fun I have taking photo's. I'm about to start my photo Bus. so I will be keeping intouch with you if thats ok. Your phot's are INCREDIBLE!!!

I completed your Digital Photography Workshop today at the Massanutten Resort;( 05/12/2011). I would like to tell you how informative and interesting it was. I learned more in those two hours than I've learned in the three years I've had the Nikon D40. Thanks for your info and I am impressed with your site. Some learn to teach and YOU truly have. Todd, after taking your photography class recently, then spending an hour with you on the advanced end, I can't thank you enough! I am so glad I attended your class at Massanutten on March 24, 2011. I can finally understand all of the functions of my Canon Rebel, but also realize it will take awhile before I can master them. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and for inspiring me.

I attended your Digital Photography class at Massanutten on 3-24-11. I just learned more in about photography and my my camera in 2 hours than I have in 2 years. Thanks for taking the time.

I attended your digital photography class 30-Dec which really helped me to fully understand the manual functions for my Nikon D5000 SLR. Until now I fully relied on the automatic function of the camera. After your class I can truly say I understand the F-Stop and how it works hand and hand with the shutter speed. I spent the following day walking around the Resort practicing taking pictures in the manual mode. I hope in the future to be taking some real quality photos.

My daughter and I took you class yesterday - first time for her but a repeat from last year for me. I had a small Olympus digital camera when I took the course last year. Based on your advice after the class, I purchased a Canon Rebel SLR to be able to take better photos. I have read through the instruction manual on the camera several times but did not have the understanding to photograph in any mode other than fully automatic. After yesterday's class, I finally have a clear understanding of the controls. You truly have a gift in presenting this material in a format that is easily understood. I plan on redoing all the photos on my website with the camera in manual mode - using multiple angles and experimenting with various F stops and shutter speeds to get the best possible exposures. Thanks again for a great class

We loved the digital class, and have learned so much from you. We went back to the Resort and took close up photos of deer that we never would have been able to do prior to the class. We toured Washington D.C. yesterday and enjoyed our photos so much. We thank you so very much.

Hi, your sight is nice. I found the same old bus this weekend after we met at the luray hert. fest. I took some photos of it.
